Green Lake

Green Lake

Anchored by a 50,000 year old glacial lake and park, Green Lake is often called the ‘Central Park’ of Seattle. A recreation destination used by an estimated 1 million people per year, runners, in-line skaters, cyclists and walkers love the 2.8 mile paved path that circles the lake. The area includes a wading pool, tennis and basketball courts, fields for soccer and baseball, and a Pitch-and-Putt Golf Course. Adjoining both I-5 and Highway 99, this neighborhood is the height of convenience for commuters. Homes in the area are predominantly single-family residences, although codominiums and townhouses are becoming a popular and more affordable option in the area. Along the north and eastside of the lake, restaurants, bars and coffee houses cater to the neighborhood residents and active visitors alike.  If you are in the area you can find Lake & Company Real Estate at the north end of the lake, located just across the street from the lake.
